![]() Here are a few photos of the school at Gorom-Gorom as the first phase nears completion. Above you can see the row of three classrooms in the foreground, with the two teachers' houses in the background. ![]() Yesterday I went out with Pastor Daniel and headmaster Nicodeme (above) to have a look at the school site. We were very impressed with both the quality and the speed of the building work. The classrooms are built and oriented to reduce the impact of the heat and wind, and there is a covered balcony in front of the classrooms. ![]() Above: the back of the school block. Below: inside one of the classrooms, where they are finishing the floors, painting, and putting the final touches. The ceilings will also reduce the impact of the sun on the roof. We have plans eventually to bring electricity to the school, though the town supply does not yet reach this far out. ![]() Do thank God with us for the progress on the school, and continue to pray for funding for the second phase (three more classrooms, office, store, etc). Thank you. Donate If you would like to support the building of the school in Gorom-Gorom, please click the link below, or go to the Donate page. Thank you ![]()
